Privacy

OpenSkate is made by one person, Darren. This page says what the website keeps about you and why.

Devlog emails

If you sign up, we keep your email address, when you signed up and confirmed, and which posts we have emailed you (so nobody gets one twice). It is used only to send devlog posts and release news. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing stops all mail. The emails are sent by Resend; the list is stored in a Neon database in Sydney.

Analytics

If you allow it, Google Analytics counts visits and which pages are read. It sets cookies. If you say no, it runs with cookies turned off and records nothing that identifies you. You can change your mind by clearing this site’s data in your browser.

Ideas and accounts

When the ideas board opens, posting will need an account. This page will say what that stores before it does.

Removing your data

Email darren@openskategame.com and everything we hold about you is deleted within 30 days. Nothing is sold or shared for advertising.
